- Intex Rise brand story

The problem

Your laptop is quietly wrecking your posture.

A laptop screen sits low by design - so every hour you spend on one, your head tips forward and your shoulders round to compensate. A study of desk workers in Delhi (Indian Journal of Community Medicine, 2016) found that a screen sitting too low made neck pain 2.6x more likely. It happens one slouched hour at a time, and most people don't notice until the ache is already there.

The fix

See the difference eye level makes.

Same desk, same chair - the only thing that changes is where the screen sits. That's the whole idea behind Rise.

Before - Monitor flat on the desk
Cluttered desk with a laptop flat on the surface
~40°neck bent forward, looking down
After - lifted to eye level
Clean desk with the screen lifted to eye level on an Intex Rise arm
~5°neck neutral, screen at eye level
Space & looks

Get your desk back.

Lift the screen off the surface and the clutter has nowhere to hide. Same desk - more room to work, and a setup you actually want to look at.

After - with Rise

About us

Thirty years of Intex. One new mission: get you looking up again.

Intex Rise isn't a startup guessing at desk hardware - it's a new line from a manufacturer that's built and warrantied hardware for 30 years. We started Rise because we kept seeing the same thing: great desks, great monitors, and a laptop or screen sitting six to eight inches below where it should be, quietly wrecking people's necks one workday at a time.

So we built one thing and built it properly - arms that put your screen at eye level, engineered to the same tooling standards and quality control as the rest of Intex's catalog, and backed by the same after-sales support. No gimmicks, no crowdfunding prototype. Just the fix, done right.

01

Engineered by Intex

Every arm runs through the same manufacturing operation and quality control Intex has used for three decades.

02

Built for one problem

Rise exists to get your screen off the desk and up to eye level - more space, a cleaner setup and a neck that sits straight.

03

Tested under real load

Rated for actual monitor and laptop weights, not best-case marketing numbers, so it holds up months in.

04

Warrantied, not just sold

1-Year warranty and real after-sales support from Intex - the same backing that's stood behind their products for 30 years.

Puts your screen at eye level

Full range of height, tilt, swivel, and rotate - dial it in once so your neck sits neutral, then it holds exactly where you leave it.

Holds under real weight

Rated and tested for actual monitor and laptop weights, not best-case numbers - so it doesn't sag six months in.

Grows with your setup

Start with one arm and add the other when you're ready - the Infinity Arm and Gravity Arm are built to sit on the same desk together, with more coming.

FAQ

Before you ask, we probably already have.

About Rise

Rise is a new product line, not a new company. It's built and warrantied by Intex, which has been manufacturing hardware for 30 years - Rise is the first line aimed specifically at desk setups rather than Intex's broader catalog.

Every Rise arm is engineered and warrantied under Intex's existing 30-year manufacturing operation - same tooling standards, same quality control, same after-sales support. Rise is a new name on familiar build quality, not an unproven factory.

Product & fit - the detailed stuff

It fixes the biggest cause: looking down. A laptop screen sits low by design, so your neck tips forward for hours a day - a Delhi study of desk workers (Indian Journal of Community Medicine, 2016) found a screen sitting too low made neck pain 2.6x more likely. Lifting the screen to eye level with a Rise arm lets your neck sit neutral instead of bent, which is the single biggest posture change a desk accessory can make. It won't correct years of slouching on its own, but it removes the daily habit that causes most of it.

Check two things: your monitor needs a VESA 75×75 or 100×100 mounting pattern (four screw holes on the back, standard on the large majority of monitors made since the mid-2000s), and its weight needs to fall within the arm's load range - see the comparison table above for exact figures per arm.

Yes - each arm mounts independently via its own clamp or grommet, so you can run both side by side (monitor on one, laptop tray on the other) as long as you have the physical edge space for two clamps. That's the most common setup for people going from laptop-only to a proper monitor-plus-laptop desk.

Structural and mechanical defects - hinge failure, spring loss of tension outside normal wear, clamp or column cracking - under normal desk use. It doesn't cover damage from drops, overloading beyond the rated capacity, or third-party mounting hardware. Full written terms are available on request at hello@intexrise.com.

Yes - more is coming. We're launching with the Infinity Arm and Gravity Arm first, the two that cover the most common desk setups. Waitlist members will hear about new products first.

Backed by 30 years, warrantied for 1.

Every arm in the Rise lineup ships with a 1-Year warranty and the same build standard Intex has run on for three decades.
